Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman teaches psychology at the University of California Davis. She also serves as the head of the Center for Public Policy Research. She is well-known for her pioneering modern research of the memory of children as eyewitnesses as well as the role of children victims in court contexts. Professor Goodman is a prolific author who has received several prizes and grants. She has collaborated with numerous governments and organizations across the world on research and policies relating to children who have been victimized by the justice system. She also serves as a consulting for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center), of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She holds memberships in many professional organizations, like the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. Professor Goodman is also a member of Psychonomics Society as well as the American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children and International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She served as president of the The American Psychological Association's Developmental Division, Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Society for Child and Family policy and practice.
